Eric H. Wietsma, FSA, MAAA, is a Senior Vice President of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. Mr. Wietsma joined MassMutual 2005 and has over 25 years of Financial Services experience. Since joining MassMutual he has led several major functions including Investment Services, Product Management, Distribution and Client Management.  

Eric’s most recent role is leading Workplace Operations. Eric and his team are responsible for servicing more than 20,000 retirement plans, providing regulatory advisory services and processing participant transactions. Additionally, the team drives the ongoing learning and development of all employees supporting the Workplace Solutions channel. Eric is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries, member of the American Academy of Actuaries and holds the Series 3, 7 and 24 FINRA designations. He is a graduate of Calvin College (BS) and Purdue University (MS).

Before Unqork, Farooq was a Partner at Oliver Wyman where he consulted to leading insurers, banks, and asset managers on strategy, digital, tech and ops, M&A, and greenfield topics. Farooq led GTM for the Oliver Wyman Fulcrum platform and Oliver Wyman’s presence at InsurTech Connect, the largest InsurTech conference globally. Farooq is a qualified Actuary and started his career at Manulife, Aon, and Canada Life.

Earlier in his career, Christian worked at both Accenture and Scient.
